TeamWorX celebrated their 27th founding anniversary last February 8, 2023 at the TeamWorX Parking Area. The event mainly focused on reminiscing TeamWorX’s humble beginnings, presented its achievements over the past two decades, and shared a glimpse of its vision in the coming months and beyond.

Feb-ibig is in the Air!
ActionLabs held their General Assembly last February 27, 2023, with an exciting theme: “All we need is Feb-ibig.” The program was also streamed online via zoom to reach out to all ActionLabs employees nationwide.
The program was hosted by the energetic duo, Gilbert Engojo and Germae Zapanta. The general assembly started with a prayer followed by an informative and engaging speech by ActionLabs President, Sir Third Solmayor.
He introduced the new core services of ActionLabs and discussed the 2023 plans of the company. To keep the ball rolling, the organizers prepared an Icebreaker game. The segment was hosted by the helpdesk tandem Jave Villalune and Junainah Escorial. They asked the audience to share and deliver their very own “pick up line”.
Moving on with the program, the department heads also gave an update by sharing their accomplishments from the previous year and presenting their goals for this year. The highlight of the event was an exciting activity called the “Dating Game”.
It was fun and interactive. The audience really enjoyed the activity and cheered their favorite pairs. Raffle prizes were also given away and during a quick break, the ActionLabs family shared some snacks together
This quarterly event is an avenue for ActionLabs employees to bond together and promote camaraderie. Through the collaborative efforts of the Talent Acquisition team and other departments the first ActionLabs General Assembly for this year was a blast!
The ActionLabs Field Support Basketball League was also launched at the general assembly. It is an internal incentive program developed by the Actionlabs Marketing team in collaboration with the Service Operations department. The program aims to motivate and recognize ActionLabs field engineers. The program also intends to boost their productivity and performance. The Solid North Raptors team was awarded as the Top Team for the Month of January. They received Php 5,000 cash and a certificate of recognition, awarded by Ms. Isha Catorce and Mr. Benedict Penaroyo.

When Toastmasters arrived in the Philippines, the very first Toastmasters Club was established by the father of Philippine Toastmaster, Atty. Teodoro Kalaw Jr., ATM who founded the Tamaraw Toastmasters Club on April 24, 1952 at the historic D&E Restaurant in Escolta, Manila. Since then, the Tamaraw Toastmasters Club expanded and created more Toastmasters Clubs here in our country including our very own TeamWorX Toastmasters Club.

Toastmasters International is a non-profit educational organization that was established in the year 1924 by Dr. Ralph Smedly in Sta. Ana, California with the aim to help people in public speaking and leadership skills. It started as a series of speaking clubs and since then has helped people all around the world from diverse backgrounds to become more confident speakers, communicators, and leaders.
Once you join Toastmasters, you'll be equipped with knowledge and skills on how to improve your communication skills by engaging in our Table Topics Sessions that will test your capability to organize your thoughts quickly to impromptu question or topics using speech patterns.
You will also experience giving Ice Breaker Speech and Prepared Speeches that will challenge your Public Speaking skills and confidence on Presenting. Aside from giving speeches, you may be designated to club meeting roles that will hone your skills in accountability, hosting, evaluation, and leadership.

What's the adjective that best describes you inside and outside of Work?
I'm a diplomat.
I think I’m the type of leader that tries to listen or coordinate with all the different parts of the organization to become a working unit. So that’s why I think I’m a diplomat more than anything else.
Describe with us your role within our organization?
I'm a strategist.
I’d like to look up more than just the short term but I’d like to look at where we are going as an organization or even as employees. Where we will be 3-5 years from now even the long term future, I like to visualize and work on that visualization to make it a reality.
I'm a giver.
With my 40 years working experience. The biggest lesson I can share with anybody is “hindi pwedeng madamot” whatever skills and knowledge that I have I would always love to share it. Because by sharing my skills, knowledge and experiences...my life becomes easierthe more people around me having the same purpose and skillset, the faster I will get to my goal.
What are the best qualities a shared service leader should have?
Be a good listener.
You must be a good listener! When you do shared services everybody around you that your sharing services to and with, they are actually your customers when they are your customers you must comprehensively understand why they need the service. You need to cater these differences and coordinate all mechanics, processes and reports so you could give comprehensive solutions for the different customers you have.
